Potentate’s Ball

The Potentate’s Ball is an annual event held on the first Saturday in June in which Ladies and their Nobles dress in their finest to pay tribute to the Potentate and his Lady.  The Potentate and his Lady put much effort into making this special occasion of dining and dancing a ‘Time to Remember’.

Hospital Kids Christmas Party

The first Saturday of December is a big event for the Kem Shriners.  The day starts with a Shrine Ceremonial in the morning, kid’s party in the afternoon complete with a visit from Santa!  The festivities conclude with a dinner and dance for Nobles and Ladies in the evening.

ND Shrine Football Games

The motto for this exciting annual event is ‘Strong legs run so weak legs may walk”.  Two games are played, one 9-man game and one 11-man game.  These teams are made up of graduated all-stars from North Dakota high schools.  One team is sponsored by El Zagal Shriners and the other by Kem Shriners.  Games such as this, together with the other fundraising events of the Shriners, make up about one half of the funding necessary for the Shriners Hospitals for Children.
